Edward is Managing Partner of Longbow focusing on investment activity and ongoing support for portfolio companies. He has advised on, participated in or led investments into over twenty early stage companies across a broad range of sectors. He is non executive director of Cyden Ltd and Direct Health Ltd.
Edward has undertaken a wide range of venture capital, project finance and investment initiatives including food, drink and medical supplies in Russia during the early 1990s, and the acquisition and development of leisure businesses in the UK.

Ron brings four decades of industrial management experience to Longbow Capital, and, as such, provides management assistance to portfolio companies as well as being adept at unearthing new business opportunities. Currently Ron has acted, at the request of Boots, as the Managing Director of the Boots Centre for Innovation and as CEO of CyDen Ltd and Chairman of Nfab Ltd, both Longbow portfolio companies. He is also a non-executive director of Repregen Ltd. (a portfolio company) and of Surface Solutions Ltd.
Ron spent over 20 years with Armstrong World Industries, managing global businesses from a London base. In 1992, Ron began to specialise in turning underperforming or early stage companies into profitable and valued concerns. Examples of companies with which he has been involved in this way include Insituform Group Ltd., Bridon plc, Brunel Holdings plc, and Oystertec plc. He was also a founder of NanoBeam Ltd., a successful nanotech company in Cambridge.

Keith is an executive partner at Longbow Capital with particular responsibility for providing assistance, and playing an active role in reviewing new biotechnology company investment opportunities. He is Non-Executive Chairman of Domainex Ltd and is also the CEO of Polytherics Ltd, another Longbow investment.
Before joining Longbow Keith was ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’ at the Bloomsbury BioSeed Fund, a biotechnology seed fund. Most of Keith’s career has been spent at ICI and then Zeneca where he led many groups including “Discovery”, introducing high throughput screening. His final position was as “Head of Intellectual Property”. Keith worked in California at Maxygen, a company which moved from private to IPO and he led the start up of “Codexis”.
