23.March 09Longbow reaches for the SkyRecent Investment - Sky Medical Longbow has just completed an investment into medical device company, Sky Medical. Sky Medical is commercializing a range of products based on technology developed at St Barts Hospital London; initially for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis but also for cardiovascular disease and improved circulation.
The investment will enable Sky Medical to launch its products into hospitals and pharmacies later this year. Sky Medical is the fourth investment in technology that can take advantage of Longbow’s relationship with the Boots Centre for Innovation.
